Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe certificate, in original along with one photocopy
by the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes. The said certificate must be from any of the following officers :
æ District Magistrate / Additional
District Magistrate / Collector / Deputy Commissioner / Additional Deputy
Commissioner / Deputy Collector / First Class Stipendiary Magistrate / City Magistrate
/ Assistant Commissioner.

Chief Presidency Magistrate / Additional Chief Presidency Magistrate/Presidency
Magistrate.
æ
Revenue Officers not below the rank of Tehsildar.
æ
Sub-Divisional Officer of the area where the candidate and / or his family normally
resides.
æ
Administrator / Secretary to Administrator / Development Officer (Laccadive and
Minicoy Island).
The original Scheduled Caste / Tribe Certificate will be returned after verification
and the attested / photocopy thereof will be retained with the admission form.
The copies of all the certificates referred to above should be attested
by a Gazetted Officer / First Class Magistrate. The seal of the Gazetted Officer
/ First Class Magistrate must also be affixed.
